Inside Out Friends,
Thank you for a wonderful second year with
Inside Out. Our students loved it again! Their comments, and
chaperone/teacher comments, were full of superlatives for
the Inside Out staff. Your teaching skills, direction of the
activities, good humor and care/concern for the well being
of the students left a deep impression. Many proclaimed, "This
was the best Field Study yet!" Your program enhanced
the classroom curriculum and energized our environmental studies.
The various hands-on investigations conducted in field and
stream ecology, along with the stewardship activities, made
science alive and relevant far beyond the classroom walls.
The three days with Inside Out were a positive experience
for our students. They grew stronger together, and more confident
individually with the team building events. The stewardship
accomplishments left everyone beaming with pride and smiling
ear-to-ear for their group endeavors. Students shared this
with us in their Journal reflections each evening. It was
common to read that "I've gone farther than I though
I could" on the team initiatives; or, "We did it
together with teamwork", "I feel stronger and more
sure of myself now", and "I made new friends with
students that I didn't know very well before" as a direct
result of your very excellent program. Thank you, thank you,
thank you. We can hardly wait till next year!!!!!!!!!!
